General Information

What kinds of services can I book through Servicly?

Servicly is a marketplace for local professional services. This includes categories like Home Services (e.g., plumbing, electrical), Beauty & Wellness (e.g., mobile stylists), Tutoring, Fitness Coaching, and more. If a service can be booked and performed locally, you should be able to find it here.

Where can I use Servicly to find services?

Servicly is currently focused on facilitating service bookings within the Republic of Lebanon.

I need help with a general question or a technical issue. Who should I contact?

For any general support, technical issues, or questions about platform policy, please contact us directly at support@servicly.me.

What is the minimum age required to open an account?

You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account, whether you are a Customer or a Provider.

How does Servicly ensure the safety and reliability of its Providers?

All Providers must pass email and phone verification upon registration. We plan to implement future Know Your Customer (KYC) or background checks to further enhance platform safety and trust.

For Customers (Clients)

How do I find a service and submit a booking request?

Use the search bar or browse categories to find the service you need. You can view Provider profiles, check their ratings, read their service descriptions, and then submit a booking request for your specific needs and preferred time. The Provider will then Accept or Reject your request.

When and how do I pay the professional who performed the service?

You pay the Provider directly. Servicly is not involved in processing the service payment. Once the service is completed, you and the Provider will agree on a payment method (e.g., cash, local bank transfer) as determined by the Provider's profile.

I need to cancel my appointment. What is the process and will I be charged?

Cancellation policies are set and enforced by the individual Provider. You should review the Provider’s specific cancellation policy (usually listed on their profile or service description) immediately upon booking. Contact the Provider directly to initiate the cancellation process.

I am unhappy with the quality of the service. What should I do?

Your first step should always be to contact the Provider directly to resolve the issue. If you cannot reach a satisfactory resolution, you may contact Servicly support for non-binding mediation. Please note: Servicly acts as a connection platform and is not responsible for the Provider’s service quality or outcome.

If a Provider damages my property, who is responsible?

The Provider is an independent contractor running their own business. Servicly explicitly disclaims liability for property damage or injuries caused by the Provider. You must address claims directly with the Provider.

How do I rate or leave feedback for a service Provider?

After a booking is completed, you will receive an opportunity to rate and review the Provider through your booking history. Reviews must be honest, accurate, and reflect the service you received.

What happens if my Provider is late or fails to show up for the booking?

Please contact the Provider immediately via the platform messaging or the contact details provided in the booking. If the Provider repeatedly fails to honor accepted bookings or is consistently late, you can report them to Servicly support. This may result in the suspension or termination of their Provider account.

How quickly are my ratings and reviews published?

Reviews are typically reviewed by our moderation team within 24–48 hours to check for inappropriate content or policy violations, and then published to the Provider's profile.

For Providers (Service Vendors)

Is Servicly my employer?

No. You operate as an independent contractor and are solely responsible for your own business operations, including paying your own taxes, social security, liability insurance, and acquiring professional licenses.

How does Servicly charge me for using the platform?

Servicly operates on a subscription fee model (with a free tier option), not a commission-based model. You pay a set subscription fee for access to the platform and features, and you keep 100% of the service fee paid by the Customer.

Do I get paid by Servicly or by the Customer?

You are paid Directly by the Customer. You must collect the full payment from the Customer upon completion of the service. Servicly does not process, hold, or transfer service fees.

What professional documents and insurance do I need to list services?

You must possess and maintain all necessary licenses, permits, professional qualifications, and liability insurance required by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon for your specific trade.

A customer wants to book me directly for future services. Is that allowed?

No. All initial and subsequent bookings with a Customer introduced via the Servicly Platform must be conducted through the Platform. Attempting to circumvent the Platform to avoid subscription fees is a violation of the Provider Agreement and will lead to account termination.

Can I save and use a customer's phone number for my own marketing?

No. Customer contact details are considered Confidential Information and may only be used for the sole purpose of fulfilling the specific, accepted booking. Any unauthorized use of customer data is prohibited.

What reasons could lead to my provider account being suspended or banned?

Common reasons for suspension or termination include: breaching the Provider Agreement, receiving repeated poor customer ratings, engaging in fraudulent booking or payment activities, or offering illegal services.

What recourse do I have if a Customer refuses to pay me for completed service?

Since payment is handled directly between you and the Customer (as per the Direct Service Payment model), this is a direct business dispute. Servicly can offer limited mediation but cannot guarantee or enforce payment. You would need to pursue legal or collection options against the Customer directly.

Privacy and Security

What personal information is shared with the Customer/Provider when a booking is confirmed?

We only share the necessary information required to complete the service: your name/profile name, verified contact information (email/phone), and the general location for the service delivery.

Does Servicly track my activity on the site?

Yes, we use standard cookies and tracking technologies for essential site functionality (like keeping you logged in) and to analyze user behavior (like which services are popular) to improve the platform. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

If I delete my account, how long does Servicly keep my data?

We retain your personal data only as long as your account is active. After you close your account, we only retain certain transactional or audit records as required by law (e.g., for legal defense or regulatory compliance).
